You can delete your Datum account and its data at any time, in the app or here on the web. You don't need to reinstall the app.
In the app
1.
Open Datum and sign in.
2.
Go to Privacy & account.
3.
Tap Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm.
On the web
1.
Go to datum.careers/sign-in and sign in with your mobile number.
2.
Open Privacy & account.
3.
Tap Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm.
Can't sign in? Email privacy@datum.careers from the personal email on your account, with your name and mobile number. We'll confirm it's you with a code sent to that mobile, then delete the account and email you when it's done.
What happens
Removes your profile, projects, references and messages. Companies you shared with lose access. Signed contracts are kept by you and the company, not by Datum.

Deleted straight away: your profile, photo, projects and their images, references, licences and certificates, blocked companies, settings, notifications, messages and your sign-in.

Any open application is withdrawn first, so companies lose access at once.

Signed contracts: Datum's copy is deleted. You and the company keep the copies you downloaded.

Company reviews you wrote are deleted too.
•
Kept: records the law requires us to keep, such as tax and payment records, for the time the law requires.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play membership. Cancel it in your store subscriptions too.

Company accounts
Company accounts: an Admin can ask Datum Support to close the company account (in the app, or at support@datum.careers). Team members who have left can ask the same way to have their own sign-in removed.
Inactive accounts
Candidate accounts not used for 24 months are deleted automatically, after a reminder email at 18 months (and never sooner than 30 days after it). Accounts with an active membership are not deleted.
